Creating a Good Day

Our Rod Boyce won 2nd prize in a poetry competition recently and he has shared the poem with us. Congrats, Rod!

My mind was clouded

Jumping from one thought to another

Too much to think about

My body was tight

Aching limbs and aching joints

Feeling lethargic and tired

It was raining outside

Focusing on each part of my body

I started to relax

And my thoughts became clearer

I was no longer aching

And I felt very calm

The rain had stopped

As the weather had cleared

The bad day became a good day

Because I opened my mind
